It's been one of those dreams of mine-something out of my control, but that I wish would happen. So I couldn't really call it a goal (which is something in my control to achieve). But I have loved this 2015 photography season of photographing more families from the city in which I live: Norwalk. It has helped me feel like more a part of the community and has greatly broadened the circle of families I know and subsequently, love.

Sarah + Chris, with their children, Brant + Elise, met me on a balmy Saturday this month for a wonderful family session and I hope these to see these kiddos in the halls at the middle school someday!

We gave the kiddos a break (and an assignment) while I photographed Sarah + Chris. My assignment? I had Elise + Brant gather leaves for a few shots! :)

Then I gave the parents a break and worked with Elise + Brant for some individual shots and the two of them together. I haven't interacted with this family long, but Brant seems to be a stealth, cool dude and Elise is a fiesty, lovely lady.

Sarah + Chris: Thank you so much for having me! I greatly enjoyed getting to know your sweet family more and can't wait to see you again in the future!
