Lauren : Class of 2017

Gerard has lovingly taken over grocery shopping for us as it would take me twice as long with trips to the bathroom and my slower walking pace these days. And more often than not in the past couple weeks, he's come home and said, "I had Lauren at check-out and she's so excited about her session with you." So, when we met up at our first location, I couldn't help but give her a hug. No longer in band, I don't get to see Lauren in the halls that I frequent, but I really enjoyed having her in the band room in middle school. As a teacher, you miss the fun and pleasant students that make your job not feel like a job at all.

This session made me feel the same way-fun, pleasant, didn't feel like work at all! Lauren's presence is truly a blessing to encounter. Her 5 inch heels? Nothing short of a miracle an ankle wasn't broken. ;)

As I showed Gerard some of the shots we got, he said, "Woah." to the more serious one above. I looked at him questioningly and he commented that you never see Lauren frowning. She's always smiling! And even if she's not smiling all the way, even the corners of her lips turn upward. :)

Lauren requested a little bit of architecture, a little bit of nature. So, we hit up downtown and then headed to Waterworks. I love it when the Parks & Rec folks leave felled trees in the park for photo ops like these!!

Lauren (& Joan & Mark): Thank you so much for a lovely evening! Not only did the weather cooperate, but the sun's lighting, the spots we were able to get to and even the easy parking spots we nabbed downtown made it so smooth. Joan & Mark, you've raised a lovely young lady and as soon as this Baby is out, Lauren, I hope to see you in the check out line! Maybe, in two years, I'll see you in the dental hygenist chair for a check-up too. :)
Best of luck in your senior year!!
Carrie
