Bianca : Class of 2022

As I was talking to Bianca’s mom about plans for her senior session, I commented, “Correct me if I’m wrong, but when I think of Bianca, I think of a ferocious, yet gracious, advocate for her brothers. This quiet, yet firm in her beliefs, young woman.” Bianca’s youngest brother is really good friends with my daughter and we often see her middle brother at school as well-both with different needs of their own and Bianca leads the charge, looking out for them on campus & in life. Edith hails from SoCal, like myself, so we commiserate mid-winter and sigh as we long for warmer days, yet throughout our conversations while Brooks & Adelaide play, there’s Bianca, a soothing, comforting presence, flitting in and out of the room while she attends to her own tasks.

Bianca has such a heart for other people and I think its her experience within her own family that has brought her to such a place of empathy, understanding & grace for those around her. I was honored that she wanted me to photograph her senior year & even more humbled when she shared she’d been looking forward to it for years. What a treat for me to serve this young woman with my camera, what a gift she is!

We had a stunningly gorgeous night for glowy light and I don’t remember it being that scorching hot either-another gift to accompany us along our route!

Bianca-You are going to do amazing things! My only regret is that we’ll miss you for the spring semester as you pursue your plans to graduate early in December.

All the best Dear One,

Carrie
