Braden : Class of 2023

While his two older brothers are the spitten image of each other, Braden gets to be a look all his own. You might remember Christian and Zach, and I love when a family member reaches out to have me continue photographing their family, especially their children’s senior photos! A return client is the best compliment I can receive.

We tried to do Braden’s session on a Saturday, but it turned out to be ridiculously rainy and wet. Anytime we had tried to reschedule (“radar looks like it’ll be better around 10:00!”) it would be pouring instead. So we scratched it altogether and aimed for a different week and man, am I so glad we did!! It was the PERFECT night for photos, complete with the beautiful glowy light that photographers pray for. Enjoy your scroll!

I’m so glad we rescheduled from the rainy day to this particular day of Braden’s session. It was the perfect temperature-neither of us worked up a sweat-and the glow of the sun setting was spot on and lovely. Even what I call “downtown Norwalk” looked similar to Valley Junction (the Junction’s Farmer’s Market was happening, so we decided to change course") and we were able to spend more time out at Maffit Reservoir instead!

Braden : Following your brothers to University of Iowa or not, you’re going to carve out your own path of success. Missing so many days of school for golf means you’ve got to be on your A Game right out the gate at the start of this year and I’m really impressed that you’re able to manage it, organize it and keep on top of it all! Well done and good luck with everything that remains for your senior year!

All the best,

Carrie
