Keli + Kyle : A Centennial Park Family Session

This family is pretty special to me. I photographed Kyle & Keli’s wedding day in a really challenging week for my own family and I will never forget Kyle’s best man’s speech at the reception. He shared how he loved serving with Kyle in simple tasks for the church and he used the setting up of chairs as an example. He teased Kyle for shifting a chair by a matter of inches or less at times and that would shift the entire row eventually as you made your way down the aisle. Gradually, Kyle’s best man saw that that small shift of an inch would add up to a foot or more of space, allowing for another seat in the sanctuary. That meant another soul that could be encouraged in the church. An added seat per row would add up to more than a dozen souls and so on.

A little shift in our lives can add up to a HUGE result and have lasting impact. Kyle & Keli have had lasting impact on me and I’m so thankful that I can continue to be their family photographer!

Since their wedding day, they’ve added Phin and Shiloh to the trio that started the party (Keli had Hanah prior to meeting Kyle). While Phin and I perfected his GQ look, Hanah worked with Shiloh to warm up to our location.

Oh Shiloh - we love you and know there’s a pose and happy smile in there somewhere!!!

Kyle + Keli - Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! My only regret is that we didn’t have more time to catch up. Thank you for always coming to me for your photos - we love you guys!

All the best,

Carrie
