Alexis : Class of 2017

When asked why she wanted to start her session at this wall, Alexis replied, "I liked its vibrancy."

Spoken like a true future Art Major! I'm always intrigued by what our senior class members will be doing with their futures beyond high school and Alexis is looking at majoring in Art at University of Northern Iowa (if my memory serves me correctly!). Together, we explored downtown in a few new spots and then headed to Norwalk's Performing Arts Center to wrap up our time on this beautiful, WARM(!), late October morning:

Alexis' one request was to highlight the gorgeous fall colors and thankfully, even in late October, there were some awesome trees that reminded me of red balls of cotton candy. :) It was at this spot that we highlighted her love of literature and her Mom brought an adorable baby photo as a comparison. Obviously, Alexis looks more grown up now, but the dimples that grace her cheeks remain. Additionally, we snagged my favorite photo from my seniors' sessions-one with the parent that joins them on their session with me. Alexis did her homework and knew this shot was coming, but kept it a secret from her lovely Mom. Ha! Love!!

In Norwalk's Performing Arts Center, we had fun with the lights available to us, creating profiles/silhouettes and highlighting Alexis' time on stage as a member of Norwalk's Show Choir-Sound Revolution.

Alexis: Thank you so much for having me out to take your senior photos!! I had such a fun time with you and appreciate your flexibility AND fun, creative ideas. I wish you nothing but success in your senior year and beyond-Lord knows I'm limited to stick figures in my heart schematics!

Blessings in every possible way,

Carrie
