Neil + Leah

A dear friend of mine referred her cousin, Leah, to me for her family's photos. So, Leah contacted me earlier this fall for when their newest addition was set to arrive late November/early December.  What a sweet, sweet family of (now) four! Delayed slightly by some doctor's appointments, we went for a more lifestyle approach to this session and it cemented in my mind a new approach to newborn photography for my business. It was more relaxed, captured their family as they truly are and didn't exhaust all members involved! With Christmas decorations up (since this was done the week before the holiday), it created a charming backdrop for this precious time in their lives. Neil even had the "fireplace" going with holiday tunes for ambiance.  

After a round of diaper changes and hair fixing, we focused on the newest addition, Ms. Adeline:

Then, we gathered everyone around the tree, after reading some books in my lap! Big Sister Sedelle joined the party proper.

We captured a few details of Adeline and both she and her sister were ready for snacks and time away from the camera. :)

Leah + Neil: Thank you so much for having me out, for your flexibility and trust in me to capture your sweet girls. I'm so excited to see their growth this coming May!!
