Grant : Class of 2022

Oh Grant. When I thought of Grant prior to his session, I wasn’t so sure how his calm & steady personality would shine on camera. I’m sure I sound like a broken record, but I love senior sessions because I learn something new and/or shoot something new every time. For Grant, his “something new” was a box of legos! :) While he wouldn’t want this factoid to be made public, I find it endearing that during the spring lockdown of 2020, his mom let me know that he brought the legos out again to pass the time: building Star Wars characters and space ships among other incredibly awesome architectural feats. We started at the Norwalk auditorium and featured his involvement in the music department: bass drum in the marching band (thank you for being roughly 6’4” tall to handle one!), his choir robe and trombone.

While we were sweating bullets throughout Grant’s session (what is it with the heat in Iowa this summer? goodness sakes!) he took it like a champ and handled all my crazy ideas with aplomb! Dad, Jeremy, also handled the peanut gallery beautifully to get natural smiles and laughter. ;)

Grant, Stacy, & Jeremy (Molly, we missed you!): I hope you’ve had a grand start to the school year and thank you for your enthusiastic support of me and my business. I love that Jeremy reassured me that you are “Team Krupke” from the get-go. Your trust of me is so empowering-thank you! Enjoy all that your senior year has to offer (with hopefully, fewer quarantine moments!)

Best,

Carrie
