Gail + Graham : A Family Reunion Session

Legacy & Laughter | The Smith Family Session

Gail and Graham are celebrating 59 years of marriage—a legacy that speaks volumes. Their story began with just the two of them and has grown into a multi-generational family that lives within stone’s throw of one another, sharing everyday life in the most beautiful, ordinary ways.

Their two daughters, Corissa and Miranda, are now married and raising families of their own. Together, they’ve created a unique family acronym—SMARNDTIN—a nod to each branch of the family tree and a symbolic way to honor the blending of last names. We even documented it during the session with hand-painted rocks, each one representing a letter, a name, a story.

Corissa and her husband, Jeremy, have two sons. Miranda and her husband, Jonathan, have four children—two boys, two girls—each stair-stepped in age from 24 to 18. I’ve had the privilege of teaching all four Martin kids through Norwalk’s band program, which made this session feel even more full-circle.

With their first grandchild getting married next year, this was a sweet, timely moment to pause, gather, and preserve the beauty of who they are—right now, in this season.

Gail and Graham, you’ve built something strong, joyful, and deeply rooted. May God continue to bless your family in the years to come.

All the best,

Carrie
