Eli : Class of 2022

Eli . . . where do I even begin? He is not your typical percussionist: he never lost his music that I can remember, and he runs the straight and narrow path. When your favorite person is “Grandpa Al” (I had a Grandpa Al) and we’re able to incorporate Phyllis the Robot into photos with the grand piano, I call that a winning senior session in all aspects! I will say it till I’m blue in the face, that this is why I love senior sessions: I do something different at every single one of them. Without fail. Every time.

We rolled the piano away and put Phyllis in the back of the van, then headed to Maffitt Reservoir to replicate a few of his older sister Eva’s so that the living room wall at home looks complete. And just like his sister’s, we chased the gorgeous light. This happens without fail every season too: I can’t believe this group of incredible humans are now Seniors!

How Eli got to be taller than Dad, I will never know! Thank you all for your grace and understanding in this season of my life. I so appreciate your friendship and support. All the best in this senior year, Eli, I know you’re going to nail it and accomplish great things beyond NHS’s (many) walls. ;)

Blessings,

Carrie
