Cap + Gown : Marea + Jacqui

Maycember is definitely a thing around here! End of the year programs, concerts, conferences, Memorial Day weekend and a birthday in our family, end of the year teacher fatigue and a shot at the smoothest transition to summer and you have a recipe for forgetting to post to the blog!!

Marea & her dear friend Jacqui got together with their cap & gowns for a quick session at their high school’s stadium, because, to Marea, that was quintessential to her high school experience. It was so fun touching base with her at the end of her senior year after photographing her last August and getting to see Jacqui after teaching her in the band room years prior in middle school.

We were so glad to do this little session together - for the ladies, to practice wearing their cap & gown (it’s awkward!) and for me, a chance at something creative to wrap up the school year!

Marea & Jacqui are members of the first class at Norwalk to graduate in the new PE & Competition Center but tonight’s photos were made on a perfect night to be outside!
