Kaydee + Cory

If you've been following this blog for any length of time, you've probably seen Kaydee's family grace the screen every year as it's grown from a family of four, to include a brother-in-law and subsequently a nephew and a niece. Following their family as it's grown has always left me wondering what God's plan for Kaydee was going to look like in the long term. Sometimes, it might have felt like a long time, but it seems to have zipped by now that Kaydee has Cory in her life.

I had the pleasure of photographing Cory's proposal and now, their engagement session was one of the last on my calendar prior to going on maternity leave. They graciously moved their session time to be 7:30am so that we could beat some of the heat. While it was still "weather you could wear", it wasn't nearly as bad as the hours after we were done!

I loved watching Cory dote on Kaydee-so sweet!!

Even at 8:15am, we were seeking a shady spot with a breeze this particular morning, and found the perfect spot under MLK/Fleur Dr for a change of scenery and temps. But it definitely didn't change how snuggly these two were:

These might be among my favorites of the morning:

Cory + Kaydee: Thank you so much for having me and for working around my needs as we anticipate Baby Boy! I so appreciate being an honorary part of the family while you prepare to get married and I can't wait to see what the day looks like in November!

Blessings,
Carrie
