Angie : Mini Branding Home Shoot

It’s always an honor when someone entrusts their moments to my camera but when it’s someone who has come back and wants something as personal as headshots/branding in their home - the pressure’s on! I have had the joy of photographing Angie’s oldest, Max, and next oldest, Emi’s senior photos with a family session add-on. Angie and her family are entering an exciting and laborious season of life as she leads a new church location in Marshalltown (M’town as we now lovingly refer to it). While Emi was preparing to graduate high school, Angie was graduating with her Master of Arts in Evangelism & Leadership through Wheaton College’s Liftin School of Mission, Ministry, and Leadershipfrom in the same month!

She is in regular contact with her friends from her Master’s cohort, one living in the Faroe Islands, and it was traveling there and back to visit that particular friend that she prayerfully considered leading this new church location. So, during our shoot, we added in some of her souvenirs from the Islands as a nod to when God most recently showed up in big ways in Angie’s life.

We started on Angie’s favorite spot in her whole house - a recent addition of a sunroom with a gorgeous tufted sofa. This beloved sofa faces her desk area, so we just leveraged the lovely natural light of the room as clouds coasted past the sun here and there.

A couple of her requests included the love of her life - Alex. I keep saying that good things come out of the New Providence/Eldora area (where I spent my summers growing up) and Alex is one of those things. We know a lot of the same people in that area and that common knowledge makes life really easy to do alongside this beautiful family. Alex is an accomplished entrepreneur, running his own Property Development company and has helped with several projects on our own home - Gerard definitely has called upon his expertise!

Angie & Alex - my family is jealous I got to spend time with you without them in tow! I’m so thankful for our friendship and your support & trust in my business to provide a service to you. Thank you so much for all of it - words just don’t do it justice.

Our prayers go with you as you step out in this new adventure serving God and His people,

Carrie
