Class of 2021 : Sadie

I’m fairly certain your cheeks will be sore from smiling at all of these amazing captures of Sadie. And that’s not puffing myself up-it’s commending Sadie at the amazing job that SHE did! We were able to work in all the outfits she wanted to, we manuevered around other sessions happening in the locations we’d chosen (very politely) and I think she looks absolutely stunning. I’m so proud of her and the young woman she is becoming-well done Miss!!

Sadie’s Mama has been such a support to our family & I’m so thankful she was with us on the session and that Sadie brought a friend. These two were in photo class with me last year & always provided a laugh for me on the hard/serious days. I’m just so thankful for them all! So, as her prop, I brought along a vintage camera that used to be my grandfather’s and Sadie may have just gained her first headshots for a future business. . . . ;)

We headed out to a favorite spot of the family’s and Sadie kept her balance in check to get to the center of this felled tree that I really love. The scene was so serene and peaceful-Sadie just looked stunning & I secretly believe she was born in the wrong decade, #flowerchild. ;)

We hustled over to Waterworks where these interesting orbs have been installed & if you listen closely enough, you’ll hear different musical pitches being played while they’re lit. But first, this blue metal shed has a way of maturing a student before their parent’s eyes. This is now the second time that a parent looked at the images taken on this wall and said, “Oh my gosh. When did they grow up!?” Sadie, seriously, you are an amazing young lady!

Sadie & family-Thank you so much for allowing me the honor of photographing you & documenting your senior year. I had a fantastic evening and the joy that spills out of you, once again, lifted me out of a funk. I hope you had fun because I had a blast & I look forward to hearing about all of your future endeavors beyond high school.

Peace out, my flower child, ;)

Carrie
