Class of 2021: Jackson

Jackson & his sister both beat to the rhythm of their own separate drummers. While in band, Jackson dutifully covers his responsibilities, plays his part really well and is a quiet leader in that way. You know those thousands of words we all say a day on average? Jackson is probably a third of a person’s average-quiet & a calming presence. Even while on his senior session, Jackson would talk only when necessary to ask questions about clothing options and answer my (probably seemingly incessant) questions to make conversation. :)

Either way, I had a ball with Jackson & I hope you enjoy our results!

We headed to Grey’s Lake and the light was divine!! I’m sure Jackson thought I was crazy to put him in the middle of the street, but he rolled with it so willingly and I’m thankful!

Ok, so the guy who photobombed us in the photo above was just going for a walk with his friend and his dog. He cheered Jackson on and then hopped into the photo! So much for social distancing in a pandemic! I promise parents, I did everything I could aside from physically pushing the guy away, to make the interaction brief & distanced. [shaking head whilst sighing]. In true Jackson fashion, he rolled with it and laughed. :)

Jackson & Family: Thank you so much for allowing me the honor of photographing BOTH of your children now for their senior years. What a joy it’s been to watch them grow & become their own young adult person. Jackson, I wish you all the best in this nutty year, I hope you have a fantastic cross country season, & get to rock out on the bass in Jazz 1 this spring.

Be well,

Carrie
